Today's misc. is a website: deviantART.com is a great place for artists of all types to join together, support each other, create, share, and have fun. Whether you write, draw, make funny comments into slides, or simply like to view, I recommend that you check this place out.
The video game I'm going to recommend is Dragon Age: Origins by Bioware. There's also a Dragon Age 2 and 3 is going to come out soon. If you like Skyrim or AC, I can pretty much assure you you'll love this one, too. There's fighting, romance (if you so choose), a brothel, great dialogue and costumizable story lines and characters. Go try it, now!
Finally, for books. Today I'm going to give it a shot and recommend my favorite book series, The Iron Fey by Julie Kagawa. There's romance, action, tension, suspense, LOTS of fantasy, and it ties in with characters and elements from William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. It's a fantastics series that will interest fantasty lovers of all genders, ages, and types.
